ECLIPSE

Anyone at Farmingdale Multiplex Cinemas last night witnessed the insane crowd for the new Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse! I had tickets for the obviously sold out 12:01 showing which i bought over a month in advance. It was more than worth staying up until 2:00am! I arrived at the movie theater around 10:30 and they had already started letting people into the theater for the first showing! Along with my best friends, Joo and Nicole, I found the perfect seats in the center of the audience, the perfect distance away from the screen. Although I never finished reading the third novel, I have never been more excited for a movie in my life! The beginning after the suprisingly scary opening scene did not seem promising. It was overdramatized, cliche, and had some downright ridiculous dialogue. However, in my opinion, that is the best aspect of these movies. After reading these books and getting lost in this dreamworld, seeing it onscreen makes it seem so unrealistic but i absolutely love it! It got so much better towards the end and I ended up being beyond satisfied and quite impressed. Go see it! Even if your not a fan of Twilight, it is an awesome thriller and so much fun to watch :)

I love it when a customer is looking in the mirror..

... and from the corner of their eye, they see another customer in the mirror across from them and they start complimenting each other.... It's like spreading the joy... sharing a smile!

The mood today here in Nikki's Dressing Room is fantastic! Mother-of-the-Bride dresses being tried on, Guest dresses, and of course last minute prom dresses. I love it that our customers still have "decisions" to make because we have such a great selection.

Carmela, our magical seamstress just stopped by to to pick up a rush alteration... She's like our very own "Gennie" who can grant every one's wishes! And she doesn't even live in a bottle!

So prom season is winding down....

Wow, Nikki's Dressing Room is really been buzzing with beautiful girls in stunning gowns.... getting their last minute alterations, shoes and accessories... Lisa just just strolled out of here with a smile from ear to ear; with her beautiful new Faviana gown neatly wrapped in her arms. She promised to send a picture to us with her date and his matching tuxedo. I can't wait!

All the girls look so fabulous. Check out the cute little Sherri Hill dresses that Courtney and Alex are wearing on the left... not only are they great salesgirls; they are stunning models too!

Their prom is next week...stay tuned for their photos! We are following some of their friends to pre-prom. Can't wait to see all of our stunning customers there!

Ok, besides our Prom Girls, today we had a few Mother-of-the Brides come in... seems we have too much of a selection and this week they have to bring the family to help make a decision... So much fun seeing everyone get beautiful and feeling great when they are standing in front of the mirror. Everything is all right in the universe when they find the the perfect dress! :)
